2019 SIOP Awards and Fellowships

SIOP Honors Members for Achievements in I-O Psychology

SIOP celebrated members’ contributions and recent achievements at three events during the 34th Annual Conference of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, held at the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor Maryland.

During the opening plenary on Thursday, April 4, Awards Chair Cindy McCauley presented the nine winners of SIOP Distinguished Awards. Fellowship Chair Derek Avery presented the 20 members of the 2019 class of SIOP Fellows, and SIOP Foundation President Milt Hakel recognized representatives of Amazon, one of two 2018 HRM Impact Award winners.

Several achievement and best paper awards were presented at the SIOP Foundation reception that took place the night before the plenary. Grant, scholarship, and fellowship recipients were also recognized at this event, along with the winners of the conference awards. In addition, President Talya Bauer presented several members with her Scientist-Practitioner Presidential Recognition. More information about this recognition and the recipients will be published soon.

The SIOP Best International Paper Award was presented at the International Reception on Thursday evening, April 4.
