SIOP Fellow Elaine Pulakos Is the Guest of the Next Conversation Series Episode

This event will be live on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM CT

Have your morning coffee over a live conversation with Dr. Elaine Pulakos. In the ninth conversation of this web based audio series, the prominent I-O psychologist will share information about her background, work, and insights on the field.

Currently, Elaine is the CEO of PDRI. She has spent her career working with organizations to design and implement talent management systems and processes in the areas of performance management, leader and employee development, staffing, complex behavior change, and adaptability. She also has extensive experience in organizational development and culture change.

Elaine has written numerous articles and books, including: Performance Management: A New Approach for Driving Business Results; Implementing Organizational Interventions: Steps, Processes, and Best Practices; and The Changing Nature of Performance: Implications for Staffing, Personnel Actions, and Employee Development. She also authored three best-practice volumes on performance management, driving a high performance culture, and staffing for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Her work has been recognized with several awards, including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology’s (SIOP) Distinguished Professional Contributions Award, the M. Scott Myers Award for Applied Research in the Workplace, and the William A. Owens Scholarly Achievement Award. Elaine is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and SIOP, where she also served as president. She received her MA and PhD degrees in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University.
