Register Now for SIOP Leading Edge Consortium on High Potential Talent

Which members of your organization have the potential to lead it to continuing success? How can you develop the leadership capabilities of your organization’s high potential talent? What is required for your organization to retain its high potential talent?  Finding solutions to these issues is critically important to organizational strategy and the future of the organization.

The 14th Annual SIOP Leading Edge Consortium is designed to provide answers to these questions and more. Join us at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel for "High Potential: Identifying, Developing & Retaining Future Leaders."

Pre-consortium workshops are October 18 and plenary sessions are October 19-20, 2018. 

The Leading Edge Consortiumis a comprehensive exploration of the topic, covering research foundations and organizational frameworks for high potential talent management as well as practical and strategic applications you can use to identify and develop future leaders for your organization. Experts who are highly experienced in the field will discuss the entire high potential life cycle, from identification and assessment through development and retention.

Pre-consortium Workshops

The Pre-Consortium Workshops, on Thursday, October 18th, offer significant opportunities for in-depth learning in smaller group settings with the leading experts in High Potential Talent Management. Each half-day workshop is offered twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Workshop 1: Identifying and Assessing High Potential Leadership Talent

This workshop will provide guidance on the foundational decisions that impact the effectiveness and long-term sustainability of high potential programs, including how to define potential, which attributes should be used to differentiate talent and what specific assessment approaches should beleveraged at different organizational levels. There will also be a discussion on how to make choices that fit different organizational needs and strategies.

Workshop 3: Building Integrated and Sustainable High Potential Talent Management Programs

This workshop will focus on the critical conceptual and design factors to building large-scale, integrated and successful high-potential programs in organizations. It will build on recent benchmark research with top development companies and extensive experience obtained from multiple organizational settings.   Organizational applications ranging from early career programs to those aimed at preparing HiPos for the next wave C-Suite roles will be discussed.
