IOOB 2018 Submissions Now Open!

The 2018 IOOB Conference will take place at the University of Tulsa February 23-24, 2018.

Submissions are now being accepted on the IOOB 2018 website. The deadline for submissions is December 15, 2017.

The IOOB conference is an annual student-led meeting bringing graduate and undergraduate student scholars together with interests in industrial and organizational psychology and organizational behavior.  It moves from city to city each year, and was last held in Tulsa in 2005.

The 2018 IOOB Conference is scheduled for February 23–24, 2018 and will focus on the topic of “Goodness of Fit.” This year’s keynote speakers include Tara Behrend, Fellow Robert Hogan, and Fellow John Binning.

Submitting to IOOB 2018 is a two-step process. The first step is to upload your 500-word abstract and answer a few questions on the submission form. If a paper is submitted and accepted to SIOP or any other professional outlet (e.g., journal, conference), then it should not be presented at the IOOB conference. Submissions must include a 500 word abstract in a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file format.  The abstract should include brief descriptions of the research aims, sample and methods, findings, and implications for theory and/or practice.  Acceptance decisions will be based on the abstract. Presentation of a research proposal is also permissible.

If your submission is accepted, you will be contacted to complete the registration form, which will be used for payment of the $35 conference fee. You will also be asked to submit a 50-word abstract to be included in the program.
