YOU Could Be the Next SIOP or SIOP Foundation Winner!

by SIOP Administrative Office

2018 Funding Nominations Are Open Through June 30

The call for nominations and applications for SIOP and SIOP Foundation awards, scholarships, and research grants opened at the annual conference. Don’t miss this opportunity to submit your research project for an award or grant, apply for scholarship funding to help with the expense of carrying out your dissertation research, or nominate a deserving colleague for one of SIOP’s Distinguished Awards!

“SIOP’s membership is made up of so many talented and accomplished I-O psychologists,” said Awards Chair Lillian T. Eby. “Whether it is a student with great career potential or a long-time member with an extensive body of work, we are proud to be able to recognize our members’ hard work and dedication.”

Eby encourages all SIOP members to look at the list of open awards and consider what might be a good fit for their particular skills and accomplishments. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2017.

“Many members may not realize they are good candidates for these funding opportunities or that we even have something to honor their specific skills or accomplishments,” she explained. “Our awards, scholarships, grants, and fellowships are excellent vehicles for honoring the excellence among us. I sincerely hope our members will take the time to see what they may qualify for and go for it. Give your colleagues a chance to honor your accomplishments! You never win if you don’t apply.”
