2015-2016 Annual Report Now Available Online

The SIOP Foundation recently released its Annual Report. Click here to access the goals and accomplishments of the SIOP Foundation during the 2015-2016 fiscal year.

Founded in 1996, the SIOP Foundation quickly received public charity status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service tax code. Founding contributions came in, and the first awards were given in 1998. This year the SIOP Foundation is 76% of the way to achieving its goal to bestow $1,000,000 by 2020 in grants, awards, and scholarships—that’s a fine legacy for an outfit that has just gotten out of its teens.

The Foundation has some exciting new initiatives in the works, including the inaugural call for the Hebl Grant for Reducing Gender Inequities in the Workplace, which will begin accepting applications in early May 2017. This new grant will recognize excellence in student research in gender-related issues.

The Annual Report contains information about how to contribute as well as a listing of new contributors, named gifts, and lifetime contributor levels. Read the full report here.

The SIOP Foundation has many other named funds, which support 11 awards, four grant programs, three scholarships, and one fellowship. Learn more about all of the Foundations awards and grants here!
