APS Rising Stars: Call for Nominations

The Association of psychological Science (APS) is hoping to catch some stars! The APS Rising Star designation is presented to outstanding psychological scientists in the earliest stages of their research career post-PhD. This designation recognizes researchers whose innovative work has already advanced the field and signals great potential for their continued contributions.

Nomination Deadline: September 30, 2016 Submit a Nomination

Individuals being considered for the Rising Star designation will be evaluated for their promise of excellence in research based on the following criteria:

  • significant publications
  • significant recognitions
  • significant discoveries, methodological innovations, or theoretical or empirical contributions
  • work with potentially broad impact
  • Nominations of candidates from diverse gender, racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds are strongly encouraged.

Eligibility: The 2016 nomination period is open to anyone who received a doctoral degree between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2015.
