Several Perspectives on Performance Offered In Newly-Posted White Papers

Four recently released white papers offer insight into employee and organization performance from different perspectives.  These and a new Romanian translation of a research and best practices summary on hiring are available on the white papers page of the SIOP website.

The white papers are just one of many informational offerings available to members and the general public, accessed by a dropdown menu from anywhere in the site.

In addition, the International Affairs Committee worked with Andrei Ion, Claudia Rus, Tatiana Radu, and Ioana Bosneag to provide a Romanian translation of What We Know About Applicant Reactions on Attitudes and Behavior: Research Summary and Best Practices, authored by Talya N. Bauer, Julie McCarthy, Neil AndersonDonald M. Truxillo, and Jesús F. Salgado.

Offerings in SIOP’s Publications menu include organizational and professional information in several formats.  Many of them are available free online.

The SIOP-SHRM White Paper Series are publications specifically intended to infuse the science of industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology and other HR disciplines into management practices for daily use in the workplace.

The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP), a quarterly publication that provides news, reports, and noncommercial information related to the fundamental practice, science, and teaching issues in industrial and organizational psychology.

Newsbriefs, an informal monthly update on member and organizational news.

Other publications are available for purchase or are provided as a SIOP membership benefit.

Industrial and Organizations Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice.  This quarterly journal, available to SIOP members, provides interactive exchanges on topics of importance to science and practice in the field.  Topics are presented in a focal article–peer commentary format.

The SIOP Store  is a centralized online resource where titles in the Organizational Frontiers and Professional Practice Series of publications can be ordered.  Titles in the Organizational Frontiers Series make scientific contributions to the field, disseminating cutting edge theory and research. Titles in the Professional Practice Series are informative and relevant guides to organizational practice, offering guidance insights and advice on how to apply the concepts, findings, methods and tools derived from organizational psychology to organizational problems.
